Neon Tropics

So this has to be one of my favourite outfits that I have blogged yet! The casual yet classy vibe that this outfit gives off makes me want to wake up and put this on all the time. I felt good in it, and at the end of the day that is how everyone should be made to feel with what they wear!

So I was lucky enough to be sent another item from the wonderful Toni at Miss Pap, it was this gorgeous tropical print dress. It's a pale blue colour with neon pink flowers and the colours literally pop, I love it! I paired it with this ribbed white jumper to break up the print slightly and offer a little warmth on a cooler day. I also went for my fave item I own at the moment, my lilac fluffy bag and my metallic chunky sandals, which I don't wear enough (forgot I had them in all honesty), I think that expresses how many shoes I have! But after this post I will be wearing them a lot more trust me! It felt like I was mixing trends like mad with metallics, neon and fluff but I couldn't help myself, and to be honest I think they work great together!

Flower Power

Morning everyone! I hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend as much as I am!

So this is just a quick one really, I seem to be channeling hippy/festival vibes here with the masses of colour I'm sporting. As you probably know I'm not a bit of a colour-phobe, I love my black and whites! But this is a lovely change. I'm in awe at this beautiful playsuit that was sent to me from the lovely people at IKrush, I'm normally a size 8 but I sized up as I was unsure about sizing and I'm really glad I did, the 10 is a perfect fit, not tight and a really flattering length. I paired the playsuit with my beautiful lilac flower crown from Summer Crown and my white Birk copies from Topshop. It is such a summery and casual outfit, I love it!

Ascot races

Hello everyone! Sorry for the long absence again I'm struggling to be available when my photographer Dad is. So shooting blog pics is becoming really hard, which is really upsetting because that's all I want to do!

Anyway Friday I went to Ascot races with a big group of girls for my friends 21st which was so much fun! When it comes to occasion wear I find it quite hard to get a dress that ticks all my boxes, I don't know whether anyone else finds this? So anyway I went through dress after dress and narrowed it down to two. I was originally going to be wearing a gorgeous red frock from Mango, who for the record are selling some devine dresses! But when I was sent my gorgeous lilac flower crown from Summer Crown I couldn't resist finding an alternative to match with it! So I stumbled across 'the' dress by chance in H&M believe it or not. I never would have thought to go to H&M for occasion wear but this gem says otherwise! I paired the dress with nude mules with a cork heel, perfect for summer and the famous fluffy bag in lilac!

Due to the fact I find occasion wear so difficult to buy I thought I'd scout my fave outfits at the races!

Sarah from Surrey wears a gorgeous pleated lemon dress from Ted Baker! She even let it slip that it was in the sale!

I love the midi skirt look and think it is a great statement outfit for any special occasion. Paige wears a white midi skirt from Miss Selfridge and black cami from River Island. Her hat (which costs a lot more than her outfit) is from a small boutique.

My gorgeous friend Vikki wore a navy lace dress from Next and extravagant head piece from Monsoon.

Finally, the lovely Shannon wears the popular Missguided dress with GORGEOUS Topshop heels and a flawless head piece (which was her mothers). What an amazing look!

So there you have it, my Style Diary from this years Ascot Races.

Monochrome

I feel like I've gone a bit monochrome mad recently, but it's probably my fave combination, it's timeless and forever fashionable.
My blogger mail recently has been really exciting! I just want to say how grateful I am for every company that has felt my blog is good enough to send me stuff to review.
I was sent this gorgeous black high necked top from Closet Clothing and I absolutely love it. The style is so flattering and the material is of excellent quality. I love this kind of top as it can be worn dressed up or down. I'm wearing a size 10 and it is a perfect fit, I'm normally a size 8 but I like sizing up with tops like these to make sure they aren't too fitted.
I've kept it real simple here by wearing my white Joni jeans with it, I don't need to say much about these because I think you all know how I feel about Joni jeans by now!
Finally I've worn my new (amazing) shoes which were sent to me by the lovelies at Miss Pap, I can see these not leaving my feet to be honest. They have a cleated heel and a patent effect, seriously cute. Miss Pap offer these shoes in different colours and they also sell stylish and affordable clothes, so take a look.
